Overview

Bolai is a private trip planning app for small groups. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using Bolai.

Information We Collect

• Account information such as your name, email address, avatar, and account creation date.
• Trip circle content such as circle names, invite codes, member nicknames, questions, itinerary items, budget items, timeline posts, comments, reactions, and uploaded images.
• Authentication and security data used to verify sign-ins, password resets, invite answers, and account access.
• Device push notification tokens if you enable notifications.
• Basic technical data such as app errors and diagnostics when error reporting is enabled.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, let members collaborate inside trip circles, send account and notification messages, prevent unauthorized access, improve app reliability, and provide support.

Sharing

Trip circle content is shared with members of that circle. We use service providers such as Supabase, Resend, Expo, Firebase, and Sentry to operate authentication, storage, email, notifications, app builds, and diagnostics. We do not sell your personal information.

Photos And User Content

Photos and posts you upload are intended for members of the relevant trip circle. Members may be able to view, save, or otherwise act on content shared in their circle.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the Bolai app from the profile screen. You can also request deletion at support@joinbolai.com or by visiting delete-account.html.
